Building
quiet machines
for loud ideas.
I'm Francesco — software architect and entrepreneur by vocation. For fifteen years I've translated complexity into invisible infrastructure, moving along the thin line where cutting-edge engineering meets the vision of business.
I design and lead the systems where value — money, art, or trust — flows fluidly across blockchains, AI agents, and the messy edges of reality. I love to build the technological silence that lets great visions resonate.
I build systems. Sometimes they become companies.
I don't think technology changes the world — I think people do. Technology only changes what people are able to do together.
For fifteen years I've worked along that fault line. I design and build the systems — the quiet ones, made of code, infrastructure, contracts and trust — that let other people's ideas move. Sometimes those systems stay systems. Sometimes they grow shoulders and become companies.
Some of that happened under Byte Me, my personal workshop for almost a decade. Some through companies I cofounded — like KMN, where I'm still a partner and external collaborator. Some through teams I joined for a while and helped move forward. Different rooms, same craft.
I started as an engineer and kept slipping into the entrepreneur chair. Probably because I care less about software itself, and more about what software makes possible: behavior, then culture, then — quietly — the future.
Right now I'm building the next thing. Not because the world needs another startup, but because there are still things worth making real. Something from here. The kind we'd be proud to put made in Italy on.

— and before all of this, earlier chapters at small companies, learning the trade through security analysis, pen-testing, databases and data viz for IoT systems. Plus a long tail of smaller engagements over the years — audits, advisory, partial-CTO tours, indie startups and founders' first lines of code — that don't fit on this page, but built me just as much.
Names on the receipts.

What I bring to the table.
— a working portrait of the disciplines I move between. The first row is where I lead. The second is where I build. They're not separable.
